Though I consider it is not only the example of the master's and crew's skills in handling the ship and conducting the operations, but also that of a poor port infrastructure. No doubt the exposed pier puts such a daily necessity for the island as a ferry call into real danger. Just watch how many times off-signing and boarding passengers were at risk of being washed away.

Anyway, bravo to the crew! They must have been well run in to have all the operation coordinated under the circumstances (watch the last 4 minutes).
